This 70+ year old artist cast bronze metal dog figurine measures 8 inches high with a base that measures 3.25 inches wide by 5 inches deep. Marked on the base side, KHALDAH and DICK on the front of base. Plaster filled. Most likely made in the USA, 1950s. The figurine weighs 7 pounds, 4.8 ounces, unpacked. A stunning piece.
CONDITION: Excellent. No damage or repairs. Some small specks of paint on surface (from a long ago previous life).
This bronze figurine is referenced in the book, The History of the Doberman Pinscher as Depicted Through Collectibles, Art and Literature in the Literature, shown on page 215.
