    Description

    This extraordinary and possibly unique sterling silver medal was produced by The Doberman Pinscher Club of America as the award for the "HIGH SCORING DOG / DPCH" on October 15, 1977.  The obverse shows a bas relief Doberman in profile with the words
    DOBERMAN PINSCHER CLUB OF
    AMERICA
    surrounding it.  The reverse shows a standing Doberman also in bas relief with the words
    HIGH SCORING DOG DPCH
    and the date 10-13-77 engraved above and below the dog.  The medal has a attached ring and loop for hanging the medal (this also tests sterling).  The medal is 2 3/8" in diameter and is 3/8" thick (at the thickest point).  It weighs116.9 grams.
