Here we have a Shakespeare "Tony Accetta Model" #1307 Bamboo Fly Rod 9' 3/2. Cherrywood reel seat is a nice touch. Cork on the grip has a spot around the rear, probably from sticking flies into it. Midsection male ferrule has been trashed with pliers, although it still fits the female, just needs cleaned up and reset properly. The guide just up from that was torn off the rod, probably while trying to pull the butt and mid apart before resorting to pliers. Extra tip is down at the first guide, full length tip has a short de-lamination with thee wraps over it. Guy must've had a really bad day that day, LOL. Anyway, I think a crafty guy could repair all this while leaving the original areas untouched and come out with a pretty mice original looking rod, just with a scratched up ferrule and one tip short.
