    Description

SENCORE SC-3100 100Mhz 2-CH Circuit Analyzer Oscilloscope - with Original Box. Condition is "Used".
Up for sale is my one owner, Sencore SC-3100, 1990's vintage 2-CH analog oscilloscope / circuit analyzer complete with original box and unopened owners manual. It's condition is working but it isn't 100% functional. I have tested some functions but not all. Please note that I am selling this o'scope strictly as is. Please read the description and review the photos carefully before bidding or buying!
I purchased this SC-3100 from Sencore in 1995, and I am the sole user. I used this daily until about 1998 and then it went into conditioned storage. I have, on occasion, taken it out of storage just to work with it again (which has always been a joy!).
When I recently 'woke it up', I noticed that the time base selector didn't always work as intended (it is an encoder I think rather than an actual switch). After leaving the unit on for about an hour, the time base selector resumed normal operation. I have not extensively tested this unit and, due to its age and lack of use over the years, it's likely that it needs a bit of contact cleaning and other TLC to come back to full 100% functionality.
I also noticed that the fuse holder for the ohmmeter function is missing. I do not know where it is.
If you look closely at the photos, I think you'll see that this is, overall, an extremely clean unit with little evidence of the wear and tear you would expect from a lab instrument over the years. I still have the original manual in its sealed bag, and the original shipping box is shown in photo 12. The like-new pull out instruction cards are shown in photo 4. I have both of the original probes but only one has the detachable ground wire.
To protect the original box, I will double box this for shipment to ensure that the 'scope and its box arrive intact.
