precision apparatus oscilloscope Es-500 Oscillograph TV Test Equipment Tube Set. Condition is "Used".
Here’s a 1951 or so precision apparatus oscillograph or oscilloscope. It is in rough cosmetic condition! The fellow I got it from was a tv repairman and this was a basement save. It turns on, there is a green glow, moving knobs there is a green pinpoint light that moves around. Other than that I do not know how to test it!!
Knobs turn well, not sure what they do.
This looks complete just has dirt and rusty outside. There is a screen that is removeable. I have not taken it apart to see the inside. Not sure if it is easy or not, so I may try just to get some inside pictures.
This may be a good machine to restore, or if you have a nice one that isn’t working, this could make one work!
Problem is shipping. It is large, heavy and I’m sure delicate. I would package it safely with ample foam, but will have to sell it as is all sales final just cause it is fragile. I’ve got a good track record shipping electronics equipment - tube/solid state stereo gear mainly, so will make sure it is as secure as possible. Just the handling by FedEx worries me a bit. Local pickup is preferred!!
As stated this is large and fragile. Lots of foam and a good box…
