from Long Leaf Pine forests in the Sandhills area of North Carolina.  These pine cones have been used for centuries as firestarters.   Once hand-dipped in scented candle wax, for use as fire starters, they light quicker, burn hotter and burn longer than un-dipped pine cones, while a subtle fragrance can be enjoyed next to the hearth or fire pit.  Create a roaring fire with these scented wax coated pine cones by simply placing one or two on the bottom most layer of smaller, dry, logs and light your fire.

You will receive a box of wax coated Longleaf pinecones that vary in size and shape. These Pyrocones are 5"-7" typically. There will be 8-12 pinecones in the package, dependent upon weight.
