LONDON, England — The Greeves Motorcycle Company of Great Britain has supplied the
London Police with four specially modified “Essex” Twins.
The machines are 250cc model 25 D.D. fitted with the Villiers Mark 4T engine which
has a special high output generator. The Greeves machines are equipped with a special
fiberglass fuel tank in order that an ultra communication radio set can be fixed on the top.
The bikes are finished in black and chrome and are most attractive. They will be used
for normal patrol duties and were used at the Lord Mayor’s Show last November.
