NSU PRIMA FIVE-STAR
Shown for the first time in the U. S.
during the International Automobile Show
will be the newest product of NSU of
Germany, the world's largest manufacturer
of motorbikes, motorscooters and motor-
cycles.
This is the NSU PRIMA FIVE-STAR
a truly luxurious scooter; following the
trend towards more power, greater com-
fort and protection this new "Auto-Scooter”
hides its potent 175cc, 9.5 hp. engine
under shiny, chrome-trimmed sidepanels.
Engine, electric starter, 4-speed, foot-
shifted transmission and shaft-drive form
one swinging unit. This unit as well as the
front suspension are dampened with hy-
draulic shock absorbers.
The NSU PRIMA FIVE-STAR features
wide footboards for rider and passenger.
Together with the excellent legshield and
deeply valanced fenders, they provide al-
most complete protection from dirt and
water. More legroom and footroom means,
of course, a less cramped riding position
and more comfort.
With greater horsepower at his command
the rider of the new NSU "Auto-Scooter"
can zoom along in perfect safety at close
to 60 mph. Lights and horn, fed by a 12
V. electrical system, are excellent and a
flasher (for passing) and electric fuel
gauge are featured.
