1957 NSU Quickly Moped vintage Scooter Whizzard Like

For sale is a 1957 NSU Quickly moped. Very fun project. I have too many scooters and mopeds so I’m downsizing my collection. This is a head turner and something you don’t see too often in the states. The paint can be stripped down to the original green paint that can be seen in the pictures. I am slowly working on putting it together so I will add more photos as more work gets done. I believe just about everything is here to make the bike run. It has been sitting for about 15 years but the engine is free. Bing carb has been cleaned out.
These German mopeds are top quality. They are capable of a climb gradient of 18%. Usually very easy to start. Another fun feature of these bikes is when you run out of gas or break down you can put the bike “between gears” and pedal it like a bicycle to get home.
Shouldn’t be too much work to get it running again. I have pdf books I can send you when you buy the book to help you with the rebuild. Also, I have a couple of sources for parts I can provide too.
